Children learn through experience and play! This is what inspires the Mother Phoenix Curriculum.

There are many strategies we implement that help you teach through experience and play. The first is the obvious, play! Each day comes with a fine or large motors play activity to help reinforce the themes and lessons throughout the year. Sensory activities are also included throughout the week to stimulate all five senses helping them learn in different ways. The goal is to encourage your child to experience something new each day!

The Second is through art. Children learn so much by creating and utilizing their curiosities and creativity. Each day there is an art activity completely lined out ready for you and your child to create something new. Each art activity is also a conversation starter which leads us to the next strategies and that is through conversation. By talking to your child about what you are learning about in different way you are solidifying the information. This is especially true when learning the basics for math and reading.

We do not stop there! Science and exploring the environment is the third key element of the Mother Phoenix Curriculum. With a science journal packed with activities you child will be encouraged to get out and see the world learning something new each step of the way. This also encourages critical thinking, problem solving, and a love for nature!

Finally there are songs and games along the way that again reinforce the lessons throughout the themes, plus teach through finger play, rhyming and more!

Its all about the experience and sharing the beauty and wisdom of the world safely, creatively, and in a fun and engaging way.
